ESP introduced the new generation’s music (house and trance music) to South Africa early in 1996, and since then has networked constantly within the international music and dance industry to remain at the forefront of the trends within the global arena. Known mainly for its trance music, it also caters for house and classics. Live streaming is broadcasted from the club via audio to the ESP website.
To date ESP is the longest running nightclub in South Africa, and has found its place as a trusted club within the global community of clubbing. ESP has positioned itself as the market leader within the dance industry in South Africa, and is constantly supporting the growth and talent of the South African Dance Music Industry.

ESP was originally started as Idols for Superior Clubbing in 1985. In 1995 the club was revamped and restructured and a music policy was introduced to ensure constant growth and creative support of the talent held in this country. The name was changed to ESP. E.S.P. being the abbreviation for Extra Sensory Perception, describing the deep connection with and love for the music. 
ESP is without a doubt the largest importer of international DJ talent to South Africa. Bringing out many International DJ’s to our beautiful country e.g., Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Sonique, DJ Sammy, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Cosmic Gate, Mr C, Safri Duo, Brooklyn Bounce, Nalin&Kane, 4 Strings, Benny Benassi, Marco V, Dave Armstrong, Lisa Lashes, Rachel Auburn, Scott Project, Above&Beyond, Pulsar, GTR, John00Fleming, Dave Lee, Ron van den Beuken, Sharam Jey to name a few.
